What Day is It?
Ok folks...what day is it? June 26th you say? Are you sure it's not July 4th? Nope it's June 26th. Then why are the bleeping fireworks going off now? Someone had some extra spending $$ i'd say because it sounds like a war is going on out there. Explosions everywhere. The kids are running around the house, the cat is running around the house and it's chaos. What is it with people and things that go boom!

The battle began in my neighborhood this past weekend. There seems to be a platoon over on 65th armed with rockets, and then up on Woodward a squad is responding with high explosive rounds. Meanwhile, the cat is the under the bed and the dog is barking her fool head off. And that's just between dusk and first light!

I can only imagine what it's going to be like by the 4th of July! Our town also puts on it's own display of fireworks although never actually on the 4th...usually before. So the next week should be loud and explosive. :0
